1. Short-term International Students

It is also possible to study Japanese for 3 months by taking a sabbatical from work or school at Toyo Language School. Short-term study with a view to future study in Japan, brushing up before taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) or the Japanese University Entrance Exam for International Students (EJU), improving communication skills regardless of nationality, and experiencing Japanese culture – there is so much you can learn even in three months.

TLS will advise any student, even if you are a short-term international student, and sincerely hope that you will take advantage of this valuable opportunity to study in Japan. It should be noted that you do not need to apply for a student visa for a three-month stay. You will be certified to live in Japan on a temporary visitor visa.

2. Long-term International Students

The entry period is four times a year (April, July, October, and January) and is based on the individual’s Japanese language skills and plans after graduation. TLS will provide the student with the required Certificate of Eligibility (COE) when the student applies for a student visa at the Immigration Office on the date specified for each entry date. Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of education abroad or be deemed by the Toyo Language School to have the same qualifications.
